Dead Planet Scrolls

Yes, I write science fiction.
author of Dead Planet Scrolls
Who knew that in my writing room at The Lunatic Assylum I write science fiction. I wrote “Dead Planet Scrolls,” which is included in the 15-author anthology of short stories just released as the eBook Theme-Thology: Invasion

All stories are themed on the title Invasion, and the book is available as eBook at AmazonKindle, Kobo, and Nook for the ridiculously low price of $2.99.

"Dead Planet Scrolls:"
Ekahau is the first Mayan on Mars and landing engineer for VANAG Mining, intent on stripping the Red Planet of its chlorominium, essential to life everywhere. Ekahau finds something in a cave that could threaten the landing, disrupt ore extraction, and confirm that invasions sometimes take paths history forgets.

Here is a sample from the beginning of "Dead Planet Scrolls:"

“Ekahau stared hard into the rust-colored Martian hills and jabbed at the communicator button on his rover’s dashboard. “Nomad to Transport-44. Rob, it’s weird. I’m picking up EMWs. On my way to check.”  He put down the scanner, gazed east through his visor, and thought. Patterned electromagnetic waves? From a cave—in an unpopulated canyon—on a dead planet?
“Transport-44 here. Hustle, Ek. I’m at position 96 between Deimos and Phobos. I’ve gotta have this ship on the surface in three hours, and orbit decay is only an hour and change away.”
Ekahau looked at the computer on his wrist and acknowledged the transmission….”

There are 14 other exciting stories to read on your e-reader while riding the subway, driving to work. Oops, strike that last one. Do not read "Dead Planet Scrolls" or any other book while driving or crossing busy streets.
great reading on your device on the subway, in the doctor's office, during office meetings and college lectures
